A slow start to the year, with the Omicron variant of Covid in wide circulation causing us to start our January practices once again on Zoom – yes, more mayhem for our kitchen flooring and lighting. But it wasn’t all doom and gloom on Zoom – on January 29th BB fielded 2 teams in the always challenging Wokingham Save the Children Quiz held on Zoom, finishing very creditably 1st and 4th. And with more encouraging Covid news emerging, our Scout Hut practices restarted in February, albeit still with some understandable caution.
