After Bunkfest there were no events until the successful (and triumphant) return of the Bunfight on Sat 26th November – a great evening with music from the Diatonics and calling by Emma Wooders. This year’s theme was ‘Abba and all things Swedish’ which led of course to some great outfits – and incorporation of a number of Abba tunes from the band! After performing Sucking the Monkey in the first interval, 16 gallant trawlermen and women of BB set sail from mid Berkshire aboard the good ship Wellerman for a sea shanty inspired spot in which everyone stayed more or less on course.
Then next day we were in a packed Wokingham with 3 other sides (including Fools Gambit) for the Wokingham Winter Carnival – another excellent day with dancing in Peach Place and Denmark Street.
