The following Saturday was Wallingford Bunkfest – always a great event, with more colourful morris dancers around the town than you could shake a stick at, and nearly always good weather. We had an opening dance spot at The Dolphin, with subsequent spots in the Market Square and at the Wallingford and Cholsey Station. Our day finished with our own ‘Bankfest’ – a team plus guests picnic / afternoon tea on the banks of the Thames near Wallingford Bridge.
